The Endocrine and Respiratory System
Test 2 is on the Endocrine and Respiratory system. A lot of this test is a matter of remembering exact processes that cause reactions in the body. You will need to understand cAMP and second messenger systems, and know what different hormones are responsible for. You will need to be able to trace the path of air into and out of the lungs, and understand gas exchange between the blood and lungs.

This website provides virtual note cards that you can hide or show on the website while you are studying them. The information is even given to you in an organized chart if you just need it as a reference.

This is a link to a study guide for the respiratory system created for students at St. Louis University, but it covers the same material that you may be expected to know here. It includes 66 questions, as well as answers for each one. It asks mostly physiology questions, but some anatomy is also covered.
