The Cardiovascular System, Lymphatic System, and the Digestive System
Test 3 is on the Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, and Digestive system. The Cardiovascular system will tie in a little bit to the Respiratory system that you learned about for the previous test, but you will also have to be able to identify the parts of the heart, understand what causes the heart to beat, and trace the blood through the body. The Lymphatic system is not covered in very much detail, but you will have to understand what it does, as well as understand the individual functions of Lymphatic cells, such as T cells and B cells. The Digestive System will require you to understand what types of juices are produced in different organs, what can be digested with them and how the enzyme-substrate complex works. You will have to be able to trace the system from the mouth to the anus, and you will have to be able to relate the digestive system to the endocrine and nervous system.
